I asked this earlier, but there was no clear answer, so I wanted to question again to see what new ideas others had.

C-states on gives you the whole resting range of Mhz and maxes out at 5.2Ghz (11900), but it emits that awful coil whining that sounds like a sparkling wine in a glass. It's upsetting.

C-States silently yet the CPU maxes out at 4.7GHz.

I want the 5.2, but other than overclocking, can I turn c-states on without the coil whine?
