Prior to the Netgear wndr4300 setup, you should physically connect your router. Disconnect any cables connected to the computer and switch on the modem. Connect the Netgear Router by plugging one end of an Ethernet cable into the modem and another to the internet port of the router. Connect your wireless router to the computer by plugging one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port of the computer and another end to any one of the LAN ports of the router. Turn on the router by plugging the router power adapter into an electrical power outlet to continue with the Netgear router setup. You can follow the same instructions for the Netgear wndr3700 setup.
