Turn it around so you have access to the back of the router. Press and hold the Reset button. You may need to use a pen or other small, pointed object to access it. Wait 30 seconds then release the button. Unplug the router for a few seconds and then plug it back in. Wait 60 seconds to give the router time to boot up. Now that linksys wrt54g passwords has been reset, connect your computer to the router using a network cable. Open a web browser and enter http://192.168.1.1/ as the URL, and admin as the password. Change the default router password from admin to something more secure. Be sure to take note of the password.
