My situation is tense, but I don't even know where to start looking for advice.

I am a British citizen, living in Spain with my Spanish husband. My Father lives here in Spain, so we have a family book. We have 2 sons born in Spain.

We were married in England, so technically we are not considered married under Spanish law. In the event of a divorce and my desire to return to the UK with my son, what will be the procedure or criteria for this. Will I have to go through an English court? And what about my son's trip to the UK ? I have my own business here, so I earn money on my own. I have assets like cars in my name and a business. The house is still registered in the name of his parents. In fact, my husband does not own any assets in his own name. Can anyone give any advice as to where I will start ? My biggest concern is my son and I'm taking them with me to the UK. Thanks

Given that you have your own business, it can be divided in court. So that this does not happen, and you are doing well with your work and children. Then you should find some firm that deals with such issues. And if you're in such a stressful and challenging situation that you should do it as soon as possible, trust me. As someone studying law in college, I can tell you that everything can end sadly because you got married in one country and live in another. But everything can be resolved if you find a specialist, so good luck to you. I hope my advice will help you.
