Well , it totally depends on your skill level. Here below I am trying to give you basic idea of how much time Android App Developers will need to grasp basics of android and I will also share my own experience with you at the end.

1. You are totally beginner

If you are totally beginner means , you have no idea about programming languages like java or kotlin. First you need to learn them first. If you take 4 hour everyday for learning java . You can easily hvae good knowledge of ide by end of he month . Than you can start learning android and I guess it will be difficult to grasp the android in starting although you will be ready to create your own app in 3 month .

Above given time is totally rough and one can be ready before 3 month or could even take more time. It totally depends on dedication .

2 . You have some programming background

If you have idea about some basic programming language it will be easy for you to start android because you already have knowledge of java or may be other programming language . To be noted that java and kotlin are only official languages from Google to develop android application . And if you know java , you will have good idea of android within 2 months. Or may be before .
