Is wallpaper washable? If you buy wallpaper, it’ll say on the label how washable it is. Solid vinyl wall paper is super washable, plain paper without any coating can’t be washed though you should be able to wipe it gently with a damp cloth. Vinyl coated paper is washable, with some care.
If the paper is on the wall and you have no idea what kind it is, find a very inconspicuous place and test it. If. It’s vinyl or vinyl coated, then the water will bead up on it, just like plastic, as it IS plastic. You can’t tell if it’s solid or only coated, so be gentle with it. Assume it’s only coated.
