Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot allows you to carry pistols on a mission. Some players use this to help reach certain achievements particularly those who are going for Suit Only. Some players make use of the extra pistol to close gaps. Gear Slot

The game's beginning players will notice that their gear slots get full, resulting in the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are Full" message, which blocks Max from selecting new equipment until old items are cleared or a larger space is obtained. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which offer more inventory space in exchange for completing challenge missions. However, because many of these challenges are scattered around the world and can be overlooked, it may take an extended time to obtain the most inventory slots in the game.

Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups on the map. Rainbet let you keep items that do not fit in your slot for weapons or gear and then retrieve it later.

These pickups are particularly useful if you need to pass through a frisk at the end of the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that would otherwise be suspect. You can only conceal only one item at a pick-up location.
