Roasting

As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is easy on the palate and softens into a warm hug for your senses. The cocoa sourced from Latin America is used to smooth out the brew, while Africa includes citrus notes for balance. The result is a coffee that can be consumed by itself, or paired with cake or milk chocolate. It's a perfect match for vanilla cakes with lemon drizzle and lemon sponges.

When brewing this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel with some off the boiling water to ensure it is warm and ready to brew. Once brewed leave to steep for 4 minutes, this ensures that the grounds are completely saturated and not over extracted. The water should be pushed through the grounds with the plunger. Do not stir or agitate the coffee, this can cause unpleasant elements to enter your cup.

Strength - 3 is soft and easygoing, perfect for relaxing weekends.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is a smooth light roast with a sweet, citrus and cocoa scent. It has a silky mouthfeel that softens the palate. The hints of cocoa can be traced back to a winters day sat on the sofa with an enjoyable book and an embrace from the family. Prepare your French Press by using water that isn't at the boiling point. This will stop the coffee from being too extracted and creating undesirable elements in your drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that has been taken off the boil. Then let coffeee.uk sit for 4 minutes, plunge and enjoy.
