15 Gifts For Your Item Upgrading Lover In Your Life World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade option lets players boost the gear rating of an item up 700 points, and then add a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you take them to the Kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to increase their stats (like perfect rolled breakpoint armour used in melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons do not change significantly after an upgrade, so they aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats like the chance to crit, attack damage as well as PvE and damage from PvP. Weapons also have a flat bonus which increases the damage they deal per second. In addition, many weapons have an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon are equipped on a unit. This bonus may be more than the damage that an upgrade alone can do.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon will require two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a gun will increase until it needs an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. While this is generally a good thing but it can also have negative consequences as well. For items that only see use in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB Sorcs, for example), upgrading them may render them unusable unless you have an extremely lucky roll.

Upgrades can be made to armor items to boost their effectiveness. This can boost the base defense of a chest or helm, while belts and gloves will boost their required strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it can sometimes reroll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats it will gain after upgrading along with the relative value of those stats. This means that an upgrade from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in a weapon gaining 3% of attack damage. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.

A weapon can also be rerolled using the green button, which is accompanied by arrows that circle in the item menu. The item will be rerolled and change its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's level nor connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few armor upgrades can make a huge difference to your survivability. Certain sets provide massive boosts to poison, curse, fire and magic resistance, making it easier to navigate through tough terrain. In general, the more defense you have on your character, the greater health you can receive from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.

To improve your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four in total and each one requires you to complete a unique side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels and the amount of material and Rupees required to complete each will vary. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to five Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, and then anywhere from five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Horns for each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for example, can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to stay ahead in cold environments with a lot of foes. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other side, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense to ensure you can survive a raid with friends.

Be aware that armor can't be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll need to work on enhancing it to increase physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power if you're Mage. It's also worthwhile to save your armor upgrades for the armor you'll be wearing at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you use to fight the final boss as well as the Monter Parts merchant's mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to unlock perks for your armor. Generally speaking, you'll want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game, such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be beneficial to have a few upgrades to your helmets and chest armor that allow you to stealth around certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that, when consumed by the player, provide an immediate effect. There are five types of potions with different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Potion upgrades require a certain amount of XP. This can be obtained by making them on a crafting table or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion as well as the item's Rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, right-click it in your inventory. Then, select "Upgrade" from the menu. item upgrade opens a GUI where you can choose the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they will yield when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time and their XP will be added to the total amount of XP you have.

Once a potion has been upgraded, it will not be degraded until you re-use it, or break the bottle it's stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to change its name.

There were a few changes to potion mechanics in version 1.7.2. Splash potions, for example have now a duration of that is 0:08 instead of 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display for the item. The table for potion is constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be used by players playing Survival and Bedrock. In contrast to the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions can't be combined in cauldrons. The same is true for using a potion in an empty cauldron. This will draw out the potion and refill the bottle.

Finally, there are lingering potions that are brewed using splash and dragon breath potions. Similarly, a lingering potions can be enhanced by adding redstone. The potion table is rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added for instance, the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an ornament or object that serves a function but is not important as a Thimble. In some cultures a trinket is used to express friendship or affection between family members.

In upgrade item to armor, weapons, and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. These can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. In contrast to other upgrades for items, trinkets can be exchanged at will without losing their status.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of each zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be bought with tokens, gold or fragments of a rare trinket.

Upgrades to trinkets are an affordable alternative to buying an entirely new one. A player can upgrade a trinket with just 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same level of base as the old trinket, but it also comes with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded once they are no longer needed, allowing a player to increase their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players which makes them an attractive alternative to gold.

In general, players should upgrade their top-priority items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are upgraded first before their secondary gear and finally other pieces of equipment they won't be replacing anytime soon (such as rings or cloaks). When deciding on which items to upgrade, players should take into account the preferred statistics of their class. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player then they should consider upgrading their chest, helm and shoulders.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher level once they no longer have value and the new trinket will receive an additional bonus of 1% for upgrading. However, a re-upgrade will ruin the previous trinket until it is saved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an additional salvage tool of higher quality. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades but still cheaper than buying new ones.
