Roasting

As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is easy on the palate and softens into a warm embrace for your senses. The cocoa from Latin America is used to smooth out the brew while Africa includes citrus notes for balance. The result is a coffee that is a great drink by itself, or with cake or milk chocolate. It would also compliment lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges very well.

We recommend using the French Press method to brew this coffee. Heating your vessel by adding water that has just been boiled will keep it warm. After making the coffee, let it infuse for 4 minutes. This ensures that all the grounds have been filled with water and are not being over-extracted. The water should be moved through the grounds using the plunger, do not stir or agitate the coffee, this can cause unpleasant elements to enter your cup.

Strength - 3, easy and easy going, great for relaxing on the weekend.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is a smoky light roast with the sweet cocoa and citrus aroma. 1kg coffee beans has a silky mouth feel that caresses the palette. The cocoa hints can be traced to the winter days spent on the sofa, reading a good book with the warmth of a hug from the family. To brew your coffee, first heat your French Press with off boil water. This is recommended to stop the coffee from over extracting and forming undesirable elements in the drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that has just boiled. For four minutes, simmer, take a plunge and relax.
