In this example I use a redstone block (redstone_block) but you may use something else, and I added a tag (moving_block_redstone_block_1) so you can teleport it around. WARNING: I don't think that the minimize feature works for 1.16, but who knows. I am not guaranteeing that this even works with older versions, so don't blame me for that.
